This is MA’s final DJ set of the season for Radio Cavolo and begins with a recording of the late Dr Maya Angelou speaking about resilience which includes a reading of her poem, “And still I rise”. “If you’re still trying to come to terms with how to rise, after everything we have been through and the fact that this pandemic is still on going, join me in rising together.” This DJ set is dedicated to addressing the question: where do we go from here? “Those of you who have been listening in to my weekly DJ sets will know me well enough by now to know that movement is part of the answer. Individual movement, yes. Community movement by all means. Collective movement absolutely but that collective is global because…” I move, you move, we move, together. Move your Groove, Move your Truth.
