Juneteenth Special Debate on Racism and Colonial Memory in Italy with prof. Angelica Pesarini (NYU Florence)

The 19th of June is known as the Juneteenth; the day commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. In light of recent events and the growing discussion on contemporary racial discrimination and colonial memory, Radio Cavolo invited Angelica Pesarini (NYU Florence) to intervene on this topic. Daphné discusses with Angelica the global mobilisation in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and address the question of racism in Italy.
