Episode 14 | Insomnia after curfew
Theme: Night Walk
Unable to sleep and given the 11pm nation wide curfew in Italy, MA is forced to stay home and imagine a night walk in cities that she decides to conjure up, drawing inspiration from a recently released single by Ziv Ravitz called “Night Walk”. “It’s a beautiful track. It’s absolutely uncontainable. I’ve tried to dance to it and I find it incredibly difficult to find the right space in the piece. But there is a space, I just need to find it.” This statement by MA acts as metaphor for how to deal with sleepless nights on planet pandemia as she sound designs paths that lead us on an imaginary night walk in, …”my city, your city, our city.”
