DJ Resilienza Collettiva – Episode 6 | The Community Garden
MA walks through Isola, Milano towards the Bosco Verticale designed by the architect Stefano Boeri and stops off at a local Community Garden (Pepe Verde) to experience the beauty of curating a community through fusing nature and urban life. “It’s a lovely oasis of green…and you’re surrounded by the city, but you’re not in the city, you’re not of the city, there is a moment to be able to seek some respite and to enjoy the nature all around…Seek out those moments and those places where you resist the riptides of every day stress, just for a moment, just to find your way back home.”
The artist Miriam Aziz (“MA”) hosts a series of DJ Resilienza sets fusing a mixture of storytelling, advice for managing the impact of the pandemic on our day to day lives, and an excuse to, “Move your Groove”, as MA likes to say. Miriam Aziz was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the EUI between 2000-04.
