Episode 8 | Where do you think you are?
“Where do you think you are?” This Friday’s DJ Resilienza Collettiva set for Radio Cavolo begins with the theme tune from “Carosello”, which was an advertising show which was shown on the RAI between 1957-1977. Italians of a certain age (di una certa età) will no doubt remember this program. “When we created the DJ Resilienza Collettiva music and dance set during the first lockdown, we decided to include Italian music and the soundtrack from adverts from the 1950’s onwards to render the experience unexpected, diverse and accessible to people of all ages.” This set is a selection of tracks that were included in these sets as part of an ode to Italianità (Sezione Vintage).
Tune in for new episodes every Friday at 20h on Radio Cavolo!
